Driven by the conviction that heritage is the living memory of society and the strongest bridge for restoring cohesion and reintegration, Al-Hadba Organization for Support and Development executed the "Heritage Festival Initiative." With generous support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the festival was held at the symbolic location of the Heritage House in the heart of Old Mosul.
The goal of the initiative went beyond mere celebration; the festival was transformed into a vital space showcasing Mosul's rich cultural and artistic tapestry. This emphasized that reviving our shared heritage is a necessary key to overcoming the scars of conflict and building a collective sense of belonging. We see every stone and every traditional craft as a driver for enhancing social cohesion, making this work a fundamental pillar in our strategy for achieving sustainable recovery.
