Al-Hadba Organization places peacebuilding as a paramount priority to ensure a stable future for Mosul, driven by the conviction that genuine development begins with social security and cohesion. Within this framework, we relied on the power of cultural activities as the strongest bridge for promoting coexistence, by executing the "Peace and Community Reintegration Festival Initiative" with generous support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The festival was held at the symbolic location of the Heritage House in the heart of the Old City, transforming into a vibrant space that showcased Mosul's shared cultural and artistic wealth. We affirm that these initiatives prove that cultural unity is an essential key to overcoming the scars of conflict and building a collective sense of belonging, making this work a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable recovery and strengthening the social fabric.
